[Video] oh god I apologize for her tl;dr 1/2

[STARE.]

It isn't -- it isn't just about costuming! It's about the passion, the soul of the character! Elphaba, the tormented genius, who wants to be recognized and accepted above all other things, only to discover her greatest hero is a fake! She is cast into despair, only to become stronger for it, and through her own determination does she find the one she loves, and Elphaba continues onward even though everyone finds her to be wicked!

Glinda -- Glinda is the good girl, the pretty girl, the sweetheart, and while she is a fantastic character and Kristin Chenoweth is a genius, she is certainly not made for me. Thank Goodness is a powerful number, but nothing beats Defying Gravity, the ultimate artistic expression of defiance and self-determination! Elphaba is strong, talented, and she will succeed at any and all costs!

[Rachel clasps her hands together with a bright smile.]

She's wonderful.
