[There's the sound of a piano playing, strong and well played, as if the person playing the piano has played this number over and over. The piano plays for a minute or two until Rachel sings softly to herself.]

I... wanna hold 'em like they do in Texas please...

[And a well practiced pause ~]

Fold 'em, let 'em hit 'em, baby, raise it, baby, stay with me... love the game, intuition, play the cards with spades to start...and after he's been hooked, I'll play the one that's on his... heart...

[And the piano playing ceases as Rachel stops singing, her voice trailing off as her breath hitches. The recording stops shortly after that.]

I know a song like this. It was one of the first things I ever learned to play on the piano.

The similarities are very interesting.

You're pretty good at this for not playing in awhile. I think practice twice a week should prove to be helpful and get you used to playing with your arm. Provided the piano isn't stolen or ruined in the near future.

Bringing it home...

Of course. You can't celebrate Hannukah without music. ... or Christmas, I guess, is what most people celebrate here.

Oh yeah. Al told me about Christmas. We don't have that back home.

I don't celebrate it in my house, but a lot of my friends from home do.

I sang for the homeless shelters with New Directions last Christmas. It snowed and then we had to dig out my dads' car and I nearly broke my neck trying to get into the back seat. It was terrible.

At least you weren't camping out in the winter.
