[The video cuts on in the middle of Rachel brushing out her hair, watching herself in her mirror. There's a large macaw in the corner, which is the only sign of the event being in her room.

She doesn't seem focused on the PCD -- or the parrot -- but instead on her image in the mirror. Rachel sighs -- the humidity is causing her hair to be curlier and poofier than it normally is and the amount of moisture certainly isn't doing anything for her skin. A tug or two through and the brush makes it through her hair, but the girl looks less than satisfied.

Until Rachel cocks her head to the left and curls her fingers around the handle of her brush and begins to sing to herself, softly, at first, but the more she sings, the louder and more passionate it becomes:]

My mama told me when I was young, we're all born superstars. She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on, in the glass of her boudoir --

[A neat spin and Rachel is full out singing into her mirror -- and seems to be doing a dance, along with her song -- and it appears perfectly choreographed.]

There's nothin' wrong with lovin' who you are, she said, 'cause he made you perfect, babe, -- so hold your head up, girl, and you'll go far -- listen to me when I say -- !

[The brush is long since forgotten on the dresser, by this point, as she continues her dance.]

I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way -- don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you're set, I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way --

[The PCD times out soon after -- the network has apparently had enough diva for the time being.]

Yes, she is wonderful. [Raven answers without thinking, a dreamy look upon herself. And then her expressions turns horrified. ...She did not just swoon over a musical. Azar please tell her she did not just do that. She coughs to hide her discomfort before putting her emotionless mask back on.]

Really? ...And still I guess you never had UFO Raids target your farms to steal your cows, right?

I would say I don't believe in aliens, but after what I've seen here, I'm inclined to take back that statement.

[Raven quirks an eyebrow at that.] You don't believe in aliens? ...Meaning that you think Earth would be the only planet in the universe where a form of life has developped?

I said I do now.

Still it's kinda hard for me to understand why you didn't before.

It's not like I spent a great deal of time with aliens.

[Raven chuckles.] Touché...

Like I said, Ohio? Not very exciting.

At least you don't have the Animus in Ohio. [Or Lucifer?] That makes it quite an appealing place to me right now.

I suppose that's true.

Most of my friends are in Ohio, too.

...You mean the other members of that choir called "Glee Club", right?

What about your family?

Mercedes, Santana, Brittany, Sam, Quinn, Mike, Tina, Noah, Artie, Lauren, and Finn.

[She pauses. Rachel tries not to focus on her family, too much, in Adstringendum. It's painful.]

And my dads, of course.

Your dads, as in plural?

...Just how many fathers do people have in the world you're from?

I have two gay dads.

Oh. I see. [It's not very common in Raven's world but she personally doesn't see anything wrong with homosexuality so.] But surely you do have a mother too. Doesn't she live with you too?

No, just my dads. I didn't grow up with a mother.

[But Rachel looks uncomfortable, now.]

[Raven notices and she figures her question was maybe a bit too personal.] I didn't grow up with any of my parents. [She offers this quietly.] But having a team of good... friends makes up for it pretty well.

-- I always wanted brothers and sisters and now I have eleven of them.

[New Directions is a weird sort of freakish loser family.]

I know what you mean. [She considers her teammates as her family too.]

Do you?

[A nod.] I consider my teammates as family too.

Sometimes that's the best you have.

Well it's the only one I've ever had so... But they're quite alright.
