[Rachel is carefully lighting another candle on her battered menorah, which is sitting in her windowsill, glaring outside at the never-setting sun. She seems to be humming underneath her breath and she sits on her bed to watch the candle flicker, an odd look on her face.

She hasn't ever celebrated Hanukkah without her family before.

But Rachel glances at the PCD and the odd expression is gone in an instant, replaced by a smile of determination.]

Kurt, I think we should begin auditions for a glee club of our own in Adstringendum. I've received several notifications of interest in the subject and I think that as co-captain, I can't ignore the need for entertainment in this city any more. I was considering sometime next week, after the sun has set... it will give us time to gather materials and a proper list of all those interested.

[She then reaches out and shuts off the feed, but not before she looks at her menorah one last time.]

We'll need instruments, but I can cover piano if we can find one in even slightly decent shape. They survive a while on their own, and I doubt any rampaging moron would have been drawn to take their frustration out on a piano when there are killer animals out there. [A pause, and he'll reach out and trail his finger down the list, mouthing the names to try and memorize them, pausing at the two Rachel mentioned.] Teaching is something we can do, so long as it's not teaching a bullfrog or anything, and a soprano is alright, I guess. So long as we don't end up with too many. [He'll narrow his eyes quickly at Rachel, though, suspicious] Adstringendum doesn't have any crackhouses, right? [Simple question, and one Rachel doesn't need to know the reasoning behind. Operation "Avoid Another Sunshine Incident" take two is go!] And from what I've heard of the guys here there are a good few baritones and basses... it's tenors we'll have to worry about.

Well, that is if we even get any guys to join. [He scowls and moves back a bit, arms crossed and fingers drumming on one arm in agitation.] How many do you think we'll be able to get?

[Why on Earth would there be crackhouses in Adstringendum? But Rachel doesn't bother asking Kurt because... well, because Kurt is obviously affected or something, seeing as a) he cares about her opinion and b) he... cares about her opinion.]

I know where a piano is and if necessary, I can also play piano. Edward and Alphonse showed me where it is... at the old casino. I'm also told that Whipstaff Manor has a piano in it, but I think people are living there, and we can't exactly take over. [This is said ruefully, as if Rachel totally would take over the manor for a piano.] And I think I can get a couple of guys to join, provided that you let me handle that.

[Yeah, Finn was pretty upfront about the whole 'um Kurt can be kind of creepy' thing.]

[To serve as the ultimate Glee Club deterrent, of course! But he's kind of glad that Rachel's seemingly waving it off. There are a few things about the future he's definitely not telling her about.

Speaking of, he should probably tell her that she and Finn are madly in love at some point. Even if it still makes him slightly nauseous to think about.

A casino? How in-tact is it? Because as much as an already inhabited manor would be in better shape... [No, no. No taking it over. As much as he'd be right behind Rachel if they tried to storm the place...] ... a casino could do. We'd just have to check acoustics.

Since I doubt Ed and Al would let us remodel enough to hold meetings here.

[As much as he's letting out a frustrated sigh and looking a little irked... yeah. Leaving Kurt alone with nice, attractive Glee potentials isn't really a good idea.] Considering we're going to be co-captains, I need an equal say in things. I'm meeting with everyone you do.

Well, as Finn is not here, I need a suitable co-captain replacement. If you're willing to do the work necessary, of course.
