[Adstringendum, you have a wonderful view of a staircase within Solve et Coagula. The PCD looks like it's on the floor and no one seems to be in sight -- yet.
Soon, a mattress appears at the top of the staircase, wielded by the tiny diva powerhouse that is Rachel Berry. She looks like she's having some difficulty pulling the mattress upright, but one does not master the art of the pique without having supreme body strength. So, on the very tips of her toes, Rachel manages to place the mattress near the top of the stairs --
But unfortunately for Rachel, the mattress is much taller than she is, and when it tips forward, so does she, and with a massive yelp, Rachel lands on the mattress, on her stomach, as the mattress flies down the stairs like the hounds of hell were after it.
She rockets past the camera and there is a resounding crash as the mattress slams into the front door, along with a groan and a shuffle off-screen as Rachel pushes herself up. Soon, she falls back into frame, rubbing her head with an irritated look, wincing as her fingers find the back of her head.]
Building these things is much easier on stage than it is in real life...

[Offline] SHUT UP YOU ARE HURTING HIS MANHOOD
Y-yeah...let's go.
[Offline] GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS
[The sides of his mouth have seemed to have been dissolved, due to the large amount of sickly-looking foam dripping from them.]

And it's a good thing, too; as soon as he drops his illusion, the zombie tears around the corner and into his barrier. The barrier holds - it's like hitting an invisible wall, and the only thing that can dispel it is magic. Negi grits his teeth, pumping more energy into the shield, strengthening it. His only chance here is if he can fuse an attack spell with the defense spell. Lightning, maybe; a glorified electric fence. If he drops the shield now to bind the zombie, it will just open him wide for attack. And he doesn't have his Pactio with Kotarou anymore. He can't use Al's armor.]
Rachel! Blaine! Get upstairs, stay away from the barrier! Don't touch it!
[This may burn a hole in the floor, but it's better than someone getting killed. As soon as they're clear, he surges a mid-level lightning spell into it. It's enough to bring down a full-grown adult, and should paralyze the zombie long enough to bind him.]

Quickly -- we can stay in my room --
