26 [Accidental Video]
[Adstringendum, you have a wonderful view of a staircase within Solve et Coagula. The PCD looks like it's on the floor and no one seems to be in sight -- yet.
Soon, a mattress appears at the top of the staircase, wielded by the tiny diva powerhouse that is Rachel Berry. She looks like she's having some difficulty pulling the mattress upright, but one does not master the art of the pique without having supreme body strength. So, on the very tips of her toes, Rachel manages to place the mattress near the top of the stairs --
But unfortunately for Rachel, the mattress is much taller than she is, and when it tips forward, so does she, and with a massive yelp, Rachel lands on the mattress, on her stomach, as the mattress flies down the stairs like the hounds of hell were after it.
She rockets past the camera and there is a resounding crash as the mattress slams into the front door, along with a groan and a shuffle off-screen as Rachel pushes herself up. Soon, she falls back into frame, rubbing her head with an irritated look, wincing as her fingers find the back of her head.]
Building these things is much easier on stage than it is in real life...

Building these things is much easier on stage than it is in real life...

[She looks down at the carnage, with a blink, before she tilts her head.]
It couldn't hurt, right?
[Offline]
[...like getting bitten by a zombie.]
Better safe then sorry, I suppose.
[Offline]
[She huffs her bangs out of her face -- Rachel needs a haircut desperately.]
This event is more than a little ridiculous. Being a zombie in costume is more than enough for me, thank you very much.

Warbler movie nights? That's cute -- I wish New Directions did more stuff like that. It would probably help with morale a lot... though I don't think Santana and some of the others would enjoy going to my house for anything but a drunken party.
[Offline]
Though Warbler bowling night ended up being a complete disaster...
[Offline]
[She tilts her head, though.]
Why was it a disaster?
[Offline]
Let's just say that some of the Warblers are not the strongest or most...coordinated of people when they are lifting large, heavy balls and trying to throw them at the same time.
Long story short...Nick nearly broke Thad's foot.
[Offline]
Well, I am certainly more coordinated than that --

[Rachel dusts off her hands with a sigh.]
I love New Directions, but there is a large variety of talent, and -- well. Finn cannot -- ... dance.
[Offline]
[He's only seen one competition but yeah...Finn was clearly not the best dancer.]
[Offline] And suddenly, permission'd threadjack
[Hope that barrier works.]
[Offline] NO GET OUT HUGGA GOD
[But the moment Rachel hears the scream, she jolts forward, instinctively grabbing Blaine around the waist in a hug with a shriek.]
What was that -- !?
[Offline]
I...I have no idea. It sounded like it came from...outside.
[Offline] FINE /LEAVES AND CRIES JUST TO MAKE YOU FEEL BAD
[Silence for a moment-]
[BAM. One of the doors has been torn down, with that shrill screaming still going. Rapid footsteps are heading in your direction, though the person (if it is one) seems to be confused by all the hallways.]
[Offline] PARDON MY CUTTING IN, THE GIRLS NEED A HERO
With a growl, Negi jumps down from the second floor landing, falling perfectly on his feet with a nice cushion of air thanks to a simple wind spell. Immediately there's a shield spell around Rachel, Blaine and himself, to keep attacks at bay.]
Get the hell out of here!
[The shield extends to the base of the stairs. They can make it to their rooms - Negi will stay and deal with this if he has to. There's no way he can keep a shield spell going on them while he's casting something else.]
[Offline] RACHEL IS MORE GUY THAN BLAINE IS OKAY SHE TAKES OFFENSE.
Part of her wants to panic -- but something clicks inside her head and Rachel grabs Blaine by the hand and tugs it sharply.]
Come on, up the stairs! Quickly --
[Offline] SHUT UP YOU ARE HURTING HIS MANHOOD
Y-yeah...let's go.
[Offline] GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS
[The sides of his mouth have seemed to have been dissolved, due to the large amount of sickly-looking foam dripping from them.]
[Offline] AT THE DOLL HOUSE IN FT. LAUDERDALE
And it's a good thing, too; as soon as he drops his illusion, the zombie tears around the corner and into his barrier. The barrier holds - it's like hitting an invisible wall, and the only thing that can dispel it is magic. Negi grits his teeth, pumping more energy into the shield, strengthening it. His only chance here is if he can fuse an attack spell with the defense spell. Lightning, maybe; a glorified electric fence. If he drops the shield now to bind the zombie, it will just open him wide for attack. And he doesn't have his Pactio with Kotarou anymore. He can't use Al's armor.]
Rachel! Blaine! Get upstairs, stay away from the barrier! Don't touch it!
[This may burn a hole in the floor, but it's better than someone getting killed. As soon as they're clear, he surges a mid-level lightning spell into it. It's enough to bring down a full-grown adult, and should paralyze the zombie long enough to bind him.]
[Offline] W/E SHUT UP
Quickly -- we can stay in my room --
